Introduction
Male Ward also known as Ward 2B opened along with the start of the opening of the Kuala Penyu Hospital. In its early opening, Male Ward only operates within the office hours. Then, on February 28th 2006, Male Ward began its 24 hours operations of providing nursing care to all communities in Kuala Penyu and its surrounding area.

It has 28 beds including 2 isolation rooms for cases of infectious diseases.

Services Scope
  • Provides diagnostic treatment and nursing care to male patients and taking care of dying patients from the age limit of 13 years and above.
  • Providing services and medical facilities as well as general surgery, but if there are specialist services, scope of services will be developed as appropriate.
  • Giving health talks to all health care providers, patients and the public about disease, hygiene and environment, healthy diet and healthy lifestyle.
  • Provides 24 hours patient care services in hospital.

Visiting Time

Day Visiting Time
Monday – Thursday 12:30 pm – 2.00 pm
4:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Friday 11.30 am - 2.00 pm
4.30 pm – 7.30 pm
Weekends and Public Holiday 12:30 pm – 7:30 pm

  • The family members of a seriously ill patient may request a special pass signed by the Medical Officer to look and take care of the patient out of the visiting time.
  • The visitor's room are provided to family members of the patient who come from far and has no place to stay in Kuala Penyu. The visitor facility is FREE.

To provide diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation as appropriate, adequate, convenient and effective to achieve optimal health status depending on the patients abilit. To give a warm and loving treatment regardless of status, race and religion.

Client Charter
WAD
  • Setiap pelanggan akan dilayan dengan mesra,bertimbangrasa, hormat,bersopan santun,jujur dan ikhlas.
  • Selepas tiba di wad ,setiap pesakit dan keluarga akan diberi maklumat sewajarnya mengenai peraturan kemasukan ke wad.
  • Setiap pesakit akan ditempatkan dikatil dalam tempoh 10 minit.
  • Setiap pesakit akan diperiksa oleh Pegawai Perubatan dalama masa 60 minit.
  • Setiap pesakit diberi jaminan bahawa kehormatannya akan terpelihara semasa menerima rawatan.Segala maklumat mengenai penyakit dan rawatan akan dirahsiakan dan hanya boleh diberitahu kepada pihak tertentu dengan keizinan yang tertakluk kepada undang-undang.
  • Setiap pesakit akan diberi penerangan yang jelas mengenai prosedur dan rawatan yang dicadangakan termasuk risiko dan pilihan yang lain.

DISCAJ
Pesakit akan diberitahu 3 JAM lebih awal mengenai tarikh dan masa discaj dari wad
Setiap pesakit akan dibekalkan dengan perkara-perkara berikut semasa discaj:
  • Maklumat temujanji
  • Risalah rawatan susulan
  • Surat rujukan kepada pakar/Pegawai Perubatan Klinik swasta yang merujuk
  • Resit bayaran discaj hospital bagi pesakit
  • Nasihat
